How do I get my Spain eSIM?

When does my Spain plan start?

Validity starts when the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination — not when you buy it. That means you can install it at home days before you travel and still land in Spain with your full allowance intact.

How long is a Spain eSIM valid for?

Our Spain plans run from 1 to 180 days from activation, so you can match a short city break or a longer trip.

Do I need to remove my normal SIM?

No. An eSIM is a second, digital line, so your existing SIM stays in the phone. Keep your usual number active for calls and texts and use the travel eSIM for data — just make sure mobile data is set to the eSIM to avoid roaming charges.

Does the Spain eSIM include a phone number?

No — our travel eSIMs are data-only. There's no local number for regular calls or SMS, but WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime and any other app that works over data keep running on your existing number.

Can I top up if I run out of data in Spain?

Yes. Plans marked "Top-up" can be recharged from your account without installing a new eSIM or scanning another QR code — handy if your trip runs long.

Will my phone work with a Spain eSIM?

Your phone needs to support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Most handsets from 2019 onwards qualify — iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, among others. Dial *#06# and look for an EID number: if one appears, your phone supports eSIM.
